2020 SAFARI INFORMATION
Named ‘Texas Best Overnight Camp’ two years in a row, Safari has grown to become a summer tradition for boys and girls ages 8-12. Set along the banks of the North Fork of the Guadalupe River at Mo-Ranch, Safari offers every opportunity for an incredible adventure, personal growth, and unparalleled fun with new friends!

Meals
All meals are served in wonderful dining halls and contain a wide assortment of choices at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Meals are served cafeteria-style with additional choices like a salad bar or sandwich bar. We are happy to make accommodations for food allergies or dietary restrictions. Just let us know – we’ll make it happen!
Lodging
Although we may get muddy and be rustic during the day, nothing feels better than a warm, clean bed at night. Our air-conditioned dorms are comfortable and modern with hotel-style service. Let’s just say we ‘rough it’ in style.
Your Ride
Transportation to and from camp from Houston and Austin is provided and included in your camp tuition. We travel on full-size luxury buses equipped with air conditioning, restrooms, and on-board entertainment. Part of the Kidventure experience is the bus ride up and back!

2020 CAMP ECHO INFORMATION
What happens when you take a camp of teenagers to the wilds of Central Texas, surround them with limitless adventure, the opportunity to do courageous things and give them a chance to make a difference in the lives of others? What happens is truly amazing.
Located near Rocksprings, Texas at Camp Eagle, Echo provides teens ages 13-16 a chance to realize that life is limitless and the opportunity to impact it can be even more.
Turning 17? Time for Apex and a new adventure
Beginning next summer Echo campers will be divided into two camps:
1. Donoma: Boys and Girls Ages 13-14
2. Miakoda: Boys and Girls Ages 15-16
Each ‘Camp’ will participate in their own adventures and activities during the day with their select camp staff. This will allow us to better facilitate a more defined and purposeful program by age. In the evening both camps will come together for new special events and parties. In addition, both camps will eat all meals together. When registering for Echo this Fall, please select your Echo age group as well as gender. Please select the age your child will be during camp.

2020 APEX RIVER EXPEDITION
The Pecos River will challenge and unify our Apex campers by instilling a sense of accomplishment and shared experience that is unique only to conquering this type of a trip.
During the 20 mile trip the participants will spend five days paddling and camping on the beautiful Pecos River in the Texas’ Chihuahuan Desert. They will run class I-III rapids and meander between building-sized boulders as they travel through the wilderness oasis. Experience the grand cathedral-like walls of the river canyon and cool clean water. Groups begin their journey at Camp Eagle’s wilderness base camp and we drive the group out to the river and back for the lower 20 mile portion of the river.
